Dr. Akbar Niazi Teaching Hospital (ANTH) and Islamabad Medical & Dental College (IMDC), upholding their legacy of advancing healthcare awareness and appreciating the initiative taken by the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, conducted a four-day First Aid and Mother-Child Healthcare Training for over a hundred educationists from as many institutions of Islamabad and its suburbs.
This initiative was taken in collaboration with the FDE to cover various crucial life skills, aiming to enhance participants’ skills in emergency response and healthcare practices. Key topics covered included basic first aid, management of medical emergencies, maternal and neonatal health, and parenting education.
Under the supervision of IMDC’s Project Director Dr Khurshid Ahmad, Quality Assurance Head Dr Sadaf Khalid, School Health Program Incharge Dr Shehla Frahin, and Nursing College Vice Principal Ms Robina Yaqoob, the training received positive feedback for its content and delivery, effectively advancing healthcare awareness among the attendees.
