International Nurses Day 2024 was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Dr. Akbar Niazi Teaching Hospital (ANTH) and Islamabad Nursing College (INC). The nursing staff, students, faculty, and management came together to observe the day through a series of vibrant events including speeches, poetry recitations, skits, fun activities, and the decoration of various hospital departments and the nursing college.

The celebrations were organized by Principal INC Capt (R) Hira Ejaz and CON ANTH Ms. Riffat Farzana. Key attendees included Director Hospitals Dr. Raja Amjad Mahmood, Registrar Col (R) Dr. Ghulam Mujtaba Abbasi, and Director ANTH Dr. Areej Neyazi, along with other senior management personnel.

The Chief Guest for the event was Ms. Asia Naseer, Chief Nursing Superintendent of PIMS Hospital and Acting Principal of PIMS College of Nursing. Guests of Honor included Mr. Naeem Bukhari, Manager of the Pakistan Educational Endowment Fund Program, Ms. Sumaira Ali, Scholarship Officer of the same program, and Ms. Daizi Jaffar, Principal of Rawal College of Nursing.

The management of ANTH and INC expressed their gratitude for the invaluable services of nurses worldwide, extending special thanks to their own nursing staff and students. The activities were thoroughly enjoyed by all, with participants reaffirming their commitment to serving humanity to the best of their abilities.
