Dr. Akbar Niazi Teaching Hospital recently hosted a workshop on “AI-Driven Cervical Cancer Screening” in collaboration with China-based Wuhan Landing Intelligence Medical Co. Ltd.

Key speakers included Prof Dr Rizwana Choudhry and Prof Dr Syeda Batool, with Dr Sun Xiao Rong, CEO of Landing Medical Technology, as the main collaborator. Dr Bushra Kant, HoD Obs & Gynae at ANTH, and her team were the chief organizers of the workshop Esteemed participants from ANTH such as Prof Dr Khalid Hasan, Dr Raja Amjad Mahmood, Dr Areej Neyazi and various Heads of Departments attended the event. A large number of gynecologists from multiple healthcare institutions joined the workshop and benefitted form the experts discussions. The Chinese colleagues participated online.

The workshop highlighted the latest AI advancements in medical technology, especially in Obs & Gynae, enhancing cervical cancer diagnosis and treatment. It was a valuable experience for all attendees, showcasing ANTH and IMDC’s commitment to innovation and improved patient care in Pakistan.
