Dr. Akbar Niazi Teaching Hospital has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first hospital in Pakistan to receive recognition from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) for training in colorectal surgery.

Prof Dr Rizwan Aziz, ANTH’s Head of Surgical Oncology and a UK fellowship-trained surgeon becomes the country’s first supervisor for this super-speciality training program.
This recognition highlights ANTH and Islamabad Medical & Dental College’s dedication to advancing medical education and improving patient care, and is set to produce a new generation of expert surgeons.
