Health Ministry Forms Public-Private Partnership for Hepatitis Elimination; Names Akbar Niazi Hospital Centre of Excellence

Dr. Akbar Niazi Teaching Hospital is honored to partner with the Ministry of National Health
Services, Regulations & Coordination, Government of Pakistan, in organizing the World
Hepatitis Day 2026 Seminar under the Prime Minister’s National Program for the Elimination
of Hepatitis C Infection.

The event is being held in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) Pakistan,
National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), Integral Global, GAK HealthCare
International, and the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), reflecting a unified national
commitment to eliminating hepatitis C from Pakistan.
