ABOUT THE DOCTOR

I am Dr. Mumtaz Ahmad Umar who graduated from Rawalpindi Medical College in 2001. I completed my residency training at PIMS Islamabad and then worked in Shifa college of medicine as Registrar and then Senior Registrar. I joined Dr. Akbar Niazi Teaching Hospital (DANTH) which is a 500 bedded tertiary care hospital, owned by Islamabad Medical & Dental College as Assistant Professor in 2018 and promoted to Associate Professor in 2023. I also have the post of Head of Department since 2021. I have almost 15 years of post-fellowship experience and total experience of more than 22 years in field of Otorhinolaryngology.
